  1.     Here are a few tips to get your network up and running quickly:

  3.     Be sure your network adapter cards are properly installed.

  5.     Decide which machines will be workstations and which will be servers.
  6.     A server can share its disk resources with other machines on the
  7.     network. While a workstation cannot share its disks, it can access
  8.     those of a server. For quick setup, INSTALL A SERVER FIRST.

  10.     During install, printers can be shared only from servers. To share
  11.     a printer from a workstation after install, consult documentation.
  12.     To access a printer, assign a USE for LPTn to the printer name.

  14.     Any user named during server install is automatically created. You
  15.     must use Net Manager to create users named during workstation install.
  16.     For quick setup, create all WORKSTATION users when you install the
  17.     first server, and then continue installing other machines.
